GEORGIAN ROBERT MARIS is a small atelier working from Bucharest with one idea: separates that hold their line. We cut skirts and jackets in short runs, in wool plaids, brushed cottons and linings chosen to move with the body rather than against it. Each style begins as a sample on the worktable, is worn through a full week before it is approved, and is only then released to the collection.
We work with a handful of family-run workshops within an hour of the studio. That distance matters: we can visit a seam, check a buttonhole and change a pattern the same week a fit issue appears. Nothing is produced in bulk and nothing is ordered twice unless it has earned it. When a fabric runs out, the style ends rather than being replaced with something close enough.
Because we sell in Europe, every order is covered by the EU right of withdrawal and our own thirty-day return window. Orders leave the studio within one to two business days, packed flat to keep their shape. If you are unsure about a size, write to us before ordering: we would rather spend five minutes on measurements than have you post a jacket back.
